The Board of Directors of the Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (District) at their regular meeting at 2 p.m. on June 5, 2008, in the Meeting Room of the District Office, 5019 Imhoff Place, Martinez, California, will hold Public Hearings to consider changes to the rates for Sewer Service, collection of the Fiscal Year 2008-2009 Sewer Service Charges on the County tax roll, to receive and consider protests to having delinquent Sewer Service Charges collected on the County tax roll, and to receive public comment on the Fiscal Year 2008-2009 Operations and Maintenance Budget, Debt Service Fund Budget and Self-Insurance Fund Budget.

Separate public hearings will be held to receive public comment on the Fiscal Year 2008-2009 Operations and Maintenance Budget, Debt Service Fund Budget and Self-Insurance Fund Budget; an increase of up to $13 for Fiscal Year 2008-2009 Sewer Service Charge rates for a total charge of up to $313 per year as previously approved and adopted by the Board; the collection of Fiscal Year 2008-2009 Sewer Service charges on the County tax roll; and collection of prior year delinquent charges on the County tax roll at which time the Board of Directors will receive and consider all protests to the proposed method of collecting the charges.
A written report has been prepared and filed with the Secretary of the District containing descriptions of each parcel of real property for which Sewer Service Charges are delinquent.
