Sewer System

Located in Walnut Creek at the junction of Highway 24 and Interstate 680, Collection System Operations’ job is to ensure that 1,500 miles of underground sewers are able to collect and transport 45 million gallons of wastewater to the treatment plant safely and efficiently every day.

Neighborhoods

Lafayette-Pleasant Hill Road Trunk Sewer Project  This project will reconstruct approximately 5,500 linear feet of sewer lines within the public right-of-way and easements.

Diablo Sewer Renovation Project, Phase 1 This project will replace/rehabilitate approximately 6,600 feet of 6 through 10-inch sewer pipe, and abandon over 4,000 feet of sewers at several different sites throughout Diablo and Danville.
