Project Description:
The District will be constructing a gravity trunk sewer to serve the Alhambra Valley, south of the City of Martinez. The trunk sewer will extend from Gilbert Lane south to the Alhambra Valley Road/Reliez Valley Road intersection about a mile away. Properties directly along the trunk sewer route will be allowed to connect houses directly to the trunk sewer. Properties not immediately adjacent to the trunk sewer may need to construct a public main sewer to reach the trunk sewer. See the October 2005 project mailing which contains more information and a map of where additional public main sewers may be needed. Construction is planned to occur in two phases; Phase I in Summer 2006 and Phase II in Spring/Summer 2007. Estimated construction cost: $4 million.
Updates:
