Permit Counter Operations

Due to a surge in Omicron cases in the region, Central San is temporarily pausing in-person service at our Permit Counter. Permit Counter staff will continue to provide virtual, contactless service for customers.  Staff is available via phone [(925) 229-7371] and email (permits@centralsan.org) to assist you from 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday through Friday. The Permit Counter’s plan review drop-off/pick-up hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30a.m. to 4:30p.m. excluding holidays.  We appreciate your patience during this period.

Virtual Services

The following services are available virtually by emailing permits@centralsan.org:

  • Sewer repair permit issuance
  • Construction permit issuance
  • Mainline plan review submittals
  • Pay fees electronically through PayPal
  • Requests for Information

 

Self-Service Drop-off/Pick-Up

You may pick-up/drop-off documents or application packages via drop off boxes located just inside the first set of lobby doors. If fees are due, you will be sent a PayPal invoice. Applicant Guide - Building Permit Review
