NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS INVITING SEALED BIDS FOR CONTRA COSTA SANITARY DISTRICT PROJECT 7353
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Board of Directors of the Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (Central San), Martinez, California, invites and will receive sealed bids for furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and services specified for the construction of Central San Project 7353, Outfall Improvements, Phase 7, in conformance with the Contract. The work generally consists of internal rehabilitation of the 72-inch diameter reinforced concrete pipeline that transports treated effluent a distance of approximately 4 miles from the wastewater treatment plant at Imhoff Place to Suisun Bay. The project includes the replacement of several large diameter valves, seismic upgrades to an underground concrete vault, and other miscellaneous improvements to the outfall line and appurtenant structures. The estimated cost of construction is $4,000,000. Central San, at its discretion, may add additional construction activities after Award of the Construction Contract.
A prebid meeting to discuss the Project will be held at 10 a.m., local time, February 13, 2020, in the District’s Board Meeting Room, at 5019 Imhoff Place, Martinez, California.
The District will receive bids at its receptionist area until 2 p.m., local time per Time.gov, March 3, 2020, at 5019 Imhoff Place, Martinez, California. NO LATE BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
