Sewer Lateral Replacement Financing Program
Central San’s Sewer Lateral Replacement financing program is available to help property owners replace a private sewer lateral or separate a shared sewer lateral.
Septic to Sewer (S2S)
Central San’s Septic to Sewer (S2S) program is available to residential property owners with septic systems who have an existing sewer main adjacent to their parcel and are interested in connecting to the public sewer.
Contractual Assessment Districts (CADs) and Alhambra Valley Assessment Districts (AVADs)
A CAD is a financing arrangement
that allows a group of neighborhood property owners to share the
cost of planning, design, and construction to extend a new sewer
to serve their parcels.
Mainline Reimbursement Accounts
Mainline Reimbursement Accounts allow a property owner who pays the cost of extending a public sewer main to their parcel to be reimbursed by other property owners who connect directly to that sewer main within 20 years.
Non-Residential Capacity Fee Installment Payment Program
Central San’s Non-Residential Capacity Fee Installment Payment Program allows non-residential users to finance their Capacity Fees over 15 years at a nominal interest rate.
Low Income Household Water Assistance Program
If you’re having trouble paying
your Central San annual Sewer Service Charge, the Low Income
Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) may be able to help.
LIHWAP is a limited-term, federally funded program that offers
low-income households a one-time payment to help pay their
residential water or wastewater bills.
Property Tax Postponement Program
The State Controller’s Property Tax Postponement Program allows homeowners who are seniors, are blind, or have a disability to defer current-year property taxes (including the sewer service charge) on their principal residence if they meet certain criteria.
