NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central San invites and will receive sealed Bids for District Project No. 100015, Electric Blower Improvements, and District Project No. 7369, Treatment Plant Piping Renovations, Phase 10, in conformance with the Contract Documents. The Electric Blower Improvements Project generally consists of major structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and controls upgrades to existing and new electric blowers, chillers, filter houses, and related auxiliary facilities. The Treatment Plant Piping Renovations, Phase 10 Project generally consists of improvements to the 1-Water system, rehabilitation and improvements to the sodium hypochlorite system, and replacement of electrical equipment and piping. The estimated cost for base bid work is: $13,800,000.

Pre-bid documents and video will be made available on PlanetBids Tuesday, May 25, 2021. No pre-bid meeting will occur.

Central San will receive bids until 12 p.m., local time per Time.gov, Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 5019 Imhoff Place, Martinez, California.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, bids can be hand delivered and dropped off between 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. outside of the District’s Board Meeting Room.  Social distancing and face coverings or masks are required, and a drop box will be available.  Accepted bids will be opened and declared aloud by the Secretary of the District, and before the General Manager, or his representatives at 12:30 p.m. via a livestream link on the District’s webpage at www.centralsan.org.  NO LATE BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
