NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Board of Directors of the Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (Central San), Martinez, California, invites and will receive sealed bids for the construction of District Project 100054, Aeration Unit 1 Steam Turbine Overhaul, in conformance with the Contract. The work generally consists of disassembling a 2,950 hp steam turbine to transport to a repair facility for damage inspection, overhaul, reinstallation, and commissioning services. The estimated cost of construction is $1,100,000. Central San, at its discretion, may add additional construction activities after Award of the Construction Contract.

A prebid meeting to discuss the Project will be held at 10 a.m., local time, May 31, 2023, in the District’s Board Room, at 5019 Imhoff Place, Martinez, California.

Central San will receive bids at its receptionist area until 2 p.m., local time per Time.gov, June 7, 2023, at 5019 Imhoff Place, Martinez, California, at which time and place, in the District’s Board Room, accepted bids will be publicly opened and declared aloud by the Secretary of the District, and before the General Manager, or his representatives.  NO LATE BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
