Notice to Contractors Inviting Sealed Bids
39-Inch Main Trunk No. 1 Renovation, District Project 100007
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Central San invites and will receive sealed bids for the construction of District Project 100007, 39-Inch Main Trunk No. 1 Renovation. The work generally consists of installation of approximately 3500 LF of 8-inch PVC by open-cut and 600 LF of 8-inch HDPE by pipe burst and direct burial methods, installation of standard manholes, abandoning portions of existing 39-inch diameter sewer pipe, and tapping large RCP interceptors. The estimated cost of construction is $2,800,000. Central San, at its discretion, may add additional construction activities after Award of the Construction Contract.
A prebid meeting to discuss the Project will be held at 10 a.m., local time, April, 2025, in Central San’s Board Room, at 5019 Imhoff Place, Martinez, California.
Central San will receive bids at its receptionist area until 2 p.m., local time per Time.gov, May 6, 2025 at 5019 Imhoff Place, Martinez, California, at which time and place, in the Board Room, accepted bids will be publicly opened and declared aloud by the Secretary of the District, and before the General Manager or representatives. NO LATE BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
