Notice to Contractors Inviting Sealed Bids
San Ramon Electrical Upgrades, District Project 100017


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Board of Directors of the Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (Central San), Martinez, California, invites and will receive sealed bids for furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and services specified for the construction of District Project 100017, San Ramon Electrical Upgrades, in conformance with the Contract.

The work generally consists of replacing the electrical service entrance, automatic transfer switch (ATS),  and three (3) variable frequency drives (VFDs) at the District’s San Ramon Pump Station. The estimated cost of construction is $1,200,000. Central San, at its discretion, may add additional work to the project after Award of the Construction Contract.

A prebid meeting recording, site walkthrough videos, and other information about the Project will be posted by 10 a.m., local time, April 11, 2022, on PlanetBids. Bidders can tour the San Ramon Pump Station (9925 Mangos Dr, San Ramon) on April 14, 2022 from 8 a.m.-9 a.m., local time.

The District will receive bids at its receptionist area until 2 p.m., local time per, April 27, 2022, at 5019 Imhoff Place, Martinez, California, at which time and place, in the District’s Multi-Purpose Room, accepted bids will be publicly opened and declared aloud by the Secretary of the District, and before the General Manager, or his representatives. Bid opening procedures are subject to change based on the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) shelter-in-place orders. Face covering may be required. NO LATE BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
