NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PLACING THE FISCAL YEAR 2018-19 SEWER SERVICE CHARGES, CAPACITY USE CHARGES, ASSESSMENTS FOR CONTRACTUAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICTS AND ALHAMBRA VALLEY ASSESSMENT DISTRICTS, AND ASSESSMENTS FOR OTHER FEE INSTALLMENT PAYMENT PROGRAMS ON THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY TAX ROLL FOR COLLECTION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT:

The Board of Directors of the Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (District) at its regular meeting at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2018, in the Board Room at the District Offices, 5019 Imhoff Place, Martinez, California, will hold a public hearing to consider placing the Fiscal Year 2018-19 Sewer Service Charges, Capacity Use Charges, assessments for Contractual Assessment Districts and Alhambra Valley Assessment Districts, and the assessments for other fee installment payment programs on the Contra Costa County tax roll for collection, and filing a report under Sections 5470-5474.10 of the Health and Safety Code. 

The operations and maintenance expenses of the District are collected through a direct charge to the users, designated as a “Sewer Service Charge.”  An ordinance establishing the Fiscal Year 2018-19 Sewer Service Charges, a report listing each property and its associated charge, and the draft resolution directing collection of the charges on the Contra Costa County tax roll are on file at the District offices and are available upon request.
