PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (Central San) will hold a public hearing on the following dated concerning THE ESTABLISHMENT OF DIRECTOR DIVISIONS for the purposes of conducting elections:

Wednesday, November 4, 2020 – 6:00 p.m.

These meeting will be held virtually via Zoom and physically in the Central San Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) at 5019 Imhoff Place, Martinez, California.

The purpose of the above public hearing is to receive additional public input to revise the draft maps for the composition of potential Director Division boundaries and to discuss the election sequence.  The draft maps have been published on Central San’s website at centralsan.org/elections.

Another public hearing will be scheduled after the November 4 public hearing to receive public input on adopting the final map setting forth Director division boundaries.

All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing and express opinions or submit information. 

Members of the public wishing to provide public comment for these public hearings may do so as follows:

1.  Leave a voicemail before the meeting: Record comments by leaving a voicemail for the Secretary of the District Katie Young at (925) 229-7303.  Voicemail comments must be received at least one hour before the meeting and will be read aloud during the meeting.

2.  Send an email before or during the meeting:  Please direct your email to the Secretary of the District at sod@centralsan.org.  Any comments will be read aloud at the meeting. 

3.  Join the Zoom meeting online at centralsan.org/meeting.  An online Speaker/Comment Card is available at centralsan.org/elections for anyone wishing to speak during the meeting and those wishing to submit written comments before or during the meeting.  Any written comments will be read aloud during the meeting.

4.  Attend the meeting in person:  While virtual participation is encouraged whenever possible to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, those wishing to attend the meeting in person are welcome to do so at Central San’s Multi-Purpose Room at 5019 Imhoff Place, Martinez.  Face coverings and social distancing are required.
