Notice of Public Hearing to Consider Award of a Power Purchase Agreement to REC Solar Commercial Corporation for Solar Power
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of the Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (Central San) at its regular meeting at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2020, in Central San’s Board Room at 5019 Imhoff Place, Martinez, California, will hold a public hearing in accordance with California Government Code Section 4217.12 to consider award of a Power Purchase Agreement to REC Solar Commercial Corporation (San Luis Obispo, CA), and:
1. Find that the terms of the Power Purchase Agreement with REC Solar Commercial Corporation is in the best interest of Central San;
2. Find that the anticipated cost for electrical energy provided by the Power Purchase Agreement will be less than the anticipated marginal cost for other energy that would have been consumed in the absence of the Power Purchase Agreement; and
3. Find that Government Code Section 4217.12(a)(2) is not applicable to this agreement.
This Power Purchase Agreement is for the design, construction, installation, operation, and maintenance of a solar photovoltaic panel system at Central San’s Lagiss property at the north end of Blum Road in Martinez, CA.
